Job summary

Vitrocsa Australia is seeking a Work Health and Safety Manager to ensure the safety of our people and business. The role is a part-time, in-house position (~16 hours per week) supported by an external consultant and an in-house safety committee.

The ideal candidate has formal Australian OHS training, strong knowledge of WHS regulations, and 2–5 years’ experience in relevant environments. A proactive, organized approach and references are essential.

Qualifications

• Formal Australian OHS training is required.
• Knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and industry best practice.
• 2–5 years of experience in residential construction, manufacturing or similar environments.
• A proven track record with references and a proactive, organized approach.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage Australian WHS regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen the risk-management framework and identify compliance gaps.
• Lead toolbox talks, induction training, and safety drills.
• Work with an external consultant and internal committee on safety matters.
• Maintain safety records, SWMS, risk registers, and PPE requirements.
