Job summary

AECOM is expanding its Water Infrastructure team in New South Wales, Australia. We seek a Civil Treatment Lead to design and deliver water and wastewater projects with a focus on upgrades, renewals and civil works.

You will coordinate from inception to construction, ensure QA, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across local and global offices. The role requires CPEng or eligibility, strong communication skills, and a passion for mentoring.

Qualifications

• CPEng or working towards/eligible.
• Experience delivering water and/or wastewater treatment projects.
• Experience with treatment plant upgrades, renewals and civil works.
• Knowledge of applicable Australian codes, standards and industry guidelines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A passion for mentoring emerging talent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Coordinate and manage projects from inception through to completion.
• Contribute to the planning and design of civil infrastructure for treatment facilities.
• Ensure quality assurance processes are followed, delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and multidisciplinary teams across offices.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers, supporting technical development.
