Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Project Manager to step into a director-level role within our NSW Water Infrastructure team, based in Sydney or Newcastle.

You will work alongside a group of highly skilled specialists, will be a trusted partner to a diverse range of clients across the water sector in Australia and will develop a deep understanding of their challenges to co-create innovative solutions that help shape the future.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in project management with real-world impact.
• Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline.
• Experience in water & wastewater industry preferred.
• Proven client-side experience across multiple sectors with stakeholder management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Support clients and manage relationships with consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
• Deliver complex projects and programs meeting client expectations, timelines, and specifications.
• Manage change, quality, health, safety and risk elements.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects across life cycle including design management, tendering, contract administration, financial management, project scheduling and risk management.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-impact results.
