Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Lead Process Engineer for Water Infrastructure in Australia. Based in Sydney or Newcastle with hybrid work options, you will lead wastewater process strategies and engage with clients across Australia and New Zealand.

You will guide technical challenges, promote sustainability, and mentor junior engineers while delivering complex, large-scale projects for our water infrastructure portfolio.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary degree (essential).
• Experience leading wastewater treatment projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Australian/New Zealand regulations and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative process engineering strategies for wastewater projects.
• Provide guidance on technical challenges and sustainability practices.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and project partners.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff.
