AECOM’s Water Infrastructure team in Cairns seeks an inspiring and collaborative Team Manager to lead our water projects and engineering professionals. The role combines technical excellence with leadership, delivering solutions across Australia, New Zealand and our global network.

You will mentor engineers, drive growth, and foster client partnerships, while guiding financial and operational success in a dynamic, project-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, with CPEng and/or RPEQ.
• Demonstrated experience within the water infrastructure industry and a consulting environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability build relationships and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders at varying levels.
• A passion for mentoring, leadership & collaboration.
• Commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to make informed decisions that balance profitability, efficiency, and market insight.
