Job summary

AECOM’s Water Infrastructure team in Australia is seeking a proven Water Treatment Process Lead to join our global team of specialists. You will apply your technical leadership to deliver complex, multidisciplinary municipal potable water projects and mentor engineers across the ANZ region.

We value collaborative leadership, client relationships, and the ability to translate engineering excellence into practical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required; CPEng and/or RPEQ/RPEV highly regarded.
• Ideally 12+ years in water treatment with demonstrated technical leadership.
• Strong understanding of municipal potable water projects and ability to guide complex programs.
• Established market presence with ability to build trusted client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across municipal potable water projects and deliver practical, innovative solutions.
• Grow our municipal potable water portfolio through client engagement and project pursuits.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, representing water treatment capabilities.
• Lead and contribute to major water treatment projects with multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor and develop engineers to grow water treatment capability.
• Collaborate with ANZ Water Leadership and global specialists to share expertise.
