Job summary

AECOM is expanding its Water Infrastructure team in New South Wales as part of the ANZ Water business. You will work on water and wastewater projects, collaborating with internal and external clients across networks, treatment plants, and renewals.

The role offers mentoring from industry leaders, exposure to interstate and international offices, and a flexible hybrid work model with opportunities to deliver sustainable outcomes for communities.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and CPEng or eligible (or working towards).
• Experience on water and/or wastewater projects including networks and wastewater treatment plant upgrades.
• Interest in mentoring and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of applicable Australian codes and standards.
• Passion for delivering high-quality work and strong client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Support the design on various water infrastructure projects including networks, wastewater treatment plant upgrades and renewals.
• Coordinate, manage and complete projects from inception, including involvement in bidding, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support.
• Ensure all quality assurance processes are followed, delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and multidisciplinary teams across local, regional, and global offices.
