Job summary

Highview College is seeking a warm, well-organised Receptionist to be the friendly first face for our Maryborough campus. You will welcome students, families and visitors, direct inquiries, assist with communications and support daily administration under the Business Manager.

The role offers part-time hours (3 days per week: Mon, Tue, Thu) with flexible working arrangements and a collegial team culture in a regional setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a reception, customer service or admin role.
• Current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain before start.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a warm, professional manner.
• Strong organisational skills, ability to manage competing priorities.
• Familiarity with SEQTA or EdSmart is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and directs students, families and visitors; triages inquiries by phone, email or in person.
• Manages visitor sign-in, supports emergency procedures and provides first aid.
• Performs daily admin tasks: attendance recording, parent communications, mail handling and reporting under Business Manager supervision.
