Job summary

Deakin University in Warrnambool is seeking a Reception Officer to be the friendly first point of contact for Deakin Residential Services. The role provides exceptional customer service and administrative support to residents, families, staff and contractors, with involvement in programs and events within a vibrant residential community.

The position is scheduled for 7:00am-3:00pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 9:00am-5:00pm on Sundays, with a flexible ordinary hours span and 20% loading

Qualifications

• Customer service and administrative support experience required.
• Qualifications may include an Associate Diploma or certificate with relevant experience.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact that matters - deliver welcoming, reliable reception and administrative support to residents, families, staff and contractors.
• Create outstanding customer experiences by responding quickly to enquiries, resolving issues and connecting people with the right services.
