Job summary

Middleby Australia is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our warehouse team in Sydney. You will pick and pack orders, operate a forklift, and support loading/unloading of shipments to ensure accurate and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include inventory accuracy, safe handling, and using warehouse tech to process orders. The role requires attention to detail, basic math, and the ability to work well both in a team and autonomously in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• High school certificate or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse or order fulfillment experience preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems or handheld scanners.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in following processes and procedures.
• Basic math skills with good communication abilities, including reading and writing in English.
• Ability to work cohesively in a team as well as individually.

Responsibilities

• Pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists or scanner instructions.
• Operate a forklift, loading and unloading containers.
• Verify the accuracy of orders, ensuring correct products, quantities, and packaging.
• Pack products securely and label boxes for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or handheld scanners (if trained).
• Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods, including lifting and moving boxes up to 25kg.

Position Summary:
