Job summary

Qualifications

• Adequate physical strength to unload shipments and lift/move products per manual handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation that fulfils operational and customer demand and meets set targets.
• Pick product quantities from the correct warehouse locations as per the picking ticket.
• Check the accuracy of each pick and place it in the nominated area for inspection.
• Package and label orders for dispatch.
• Fulfill orders and book freight in NetSuite as required.
• Unload containers safely and move incoming goods to shelves and designated warehouse locations.
• Replenish and move stock to shelves as directed and ensure stock movements are recorded accurately.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery where required, licensed, and authorised.
• Understand and comply with health, safety and environmental policies and regulations, and work safely to protect themselves and others.

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods. This role ensures inventory is accurately maintained and all warehouse processes are performed according to company standards, in a hands-on and busy warehouse where on-time delivery and quality service are critical to Alpha Supply's reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture items as instructed
• Pick product quantities from the correct warehouse locations as per the picking ticket
• Check the accuracy of each pick and place it in the nominated area for inspection

• Adequate physical strength to unload shipments, ability to stand for extended periods, and ability to lift and manoeuvre products in line with manual handling procedures
