Job summary

CPH Group in Geelong is seeking a Warehouse Operator to pick/pack orders, restock shelves and manage stock with RF barcode scanning. Forklift operations and light heavy lifting are involved in a fast-paced environment.

The role reports to the Warehouse Team Leader and offers a temp-to-permanent pathway. Candidates must have a current forklift licence and be able to work 7:00am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday with full Australian work rights.

Qualifications

• MUST have forklift licence and be able to operate RF scanning system.
• Good attitude and willingness to learn.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Forklift & reach experience with current licence.
• Reliable and punctual, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Full Australian work rights.
• Experience with Wall Saws and metal guillotine is a plus but not essential.
• Container unloading experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders.
• Restock goods onto picking bays.
• Use RF gun for barcode scanning.
• Operate wall saws and metal guillotine.
• Unload containers.
• Conduct stock counts.
• Keep stock locations accurate.
• Plan incoming stock locations and put away goods.

Job description

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operator commencing ASAP ($35/hour or $32 /hour for a Junior Operator) for Temp to Permanent Role.

Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, the successful applicant will be required to pick and pack goods for customer orders, restock goods in the warehouse and maintain product knowledge. You will be required to operate forklifts (including reach truck) and be physically fit as this role does include some heavy lifting.

Hours:

7:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday

The duties will involve but not limited to:

• Pick and Pack Customer Orders
• Restock goods onto picking bays
• Use of an RF Gun for Barcode Scanning
• Operating Wall Saws and metal guillotine
• Unloading Containers
• Stock Counts
• Keeping Stock Locations accurate
• Planning Incoming Stock Locations
• Putting away goods into pallet racking
• All other duties instructed by the Leading Hand or Managing Director

To be considered for this role, you MUST have

• Forklift & high reach experience (with a current Forklift licence)
• The willingness to work with manual handling responsibilities
• A reliable and punctual nature

• Previous experience operating Wall Saws and metal guillotine would be ideal however not essential
• Container unloading experience is preferred
