Job summary

SME Powered Services is seeking a hands-on Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator in Victoria to help keep materials, equipment and supplies moving. This role combines warehouse operations, inventory control and logistics, working with our supply chain and project teams to shape our growing warehouse function.

You'll manage receiving, packing and dispatch, maintain stock records, coordinate deliveries and support future warehouse systems, all while prioritising safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, stores, logistics or inventory.
• Current Australian Driver Licence and demerit point check.

SME Powered Services is a growing Australian electrical and communications contractor supporting projects across technical, commercial, industrial and mission-critical environments. We're building our warehouse and logistics capability from the ground up, supporting large infrastructure and data centre projects across Victoria.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a hands-on Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator to help keep materials, equipment and supplies moving where and when they need to be.

This is a practical role combining warehouse operations, inventory control and logistics. You'll work closely with our supply chain and project teams and play an important role in building how our warehouse and logistics function operates as we grow.

What you’ll do

• Receive, unload, check and store materials, tools, equipment and consumables.
• Pick, pack, stage and dispatch materials to project sites.
• Load and unload vehicles safely, including forklift operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, stock levels and locations.
• Conduct stocktakes and investigates inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinate deliveries with project teams and transport providers.
• Complete site deliveries and material transfers when required.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse.
• Help develop better warehouse, inventory and logistics processes.
• Keep accurate records and support the introduction of future warehouse systems.
• Identify issues, solve problems and look for ways to make things work better.

About You

You'll have experience in warehouse, stores, logistics or inventory, with a practical attitude and strong attention to detail.

You'll bring:

• Warehouse or logistics experience
• A current Australian Driver Licence and a demerit point check available
• Experience with receiving, picking, packing and dispatch
• Good computer and Excel skills
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• A commitment to working safely
• A willingness to get stuck in and work as part of a team
• Experience in construction, electrical, communications, infrastructure or project environments will be highly regarded.
