Job summary

Officeworks Ltd. is launching a brand-new 55k sqm omnichannel Distribution Centre in Redbank, QLD. We seek a Warehouse Coordinator to lead, coach and build a high-performing team from day one.

You will combine hands-on warehouse coordination with process leadership, training and mentoring to ensure daily operations run smoothly as we scale this Greenfield site. You will play a key role in onboarding and guiding new team members and improving operational outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in training, onboarding and coaching teams on operational processes and safe work practices.
  • Ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert, providing guidance across DC operations.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution centre, or logistics environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications; comfortable with basic IT.
  • Forklift licence is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries, including loading and unloading.
  • Assist with inventory processes and maintain stock accuracy in warehouse systems.
  • Support picking, packing and automated fulfilment operations.
  • Coordinate putaway, replenishment, dispatch, sortation and pallet wrapping activities.
  • Monitor workflow and resolve operational issues to maintain service levels.
  • Perform manual handling tasks as required (up to 20 kg).
  • Contribute to general warehouse operations and process improvements.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment.

Officeworks is launching a brand-new, cutting‑edge, 55k sqm omnichannel Distribution Centre in Redbank.

This future-focused flagship facility is designed with bothpeople and planetin mind, featuring incredible sustainability initiatives and modern amenities designed to support team health and wellbeing.

As the Department Subject Matter Expert (SME), you'll combine hands‑on warehouse coordination with process leadership, supporting daily operations while providing training, guidance, coaching, and technical expertise to your team.

If you are a motivated and organised Warehouse Coordinator who wants to play a key role in building a Greenfield site, supporting the onboarding and training of new team members, and providing operational guidance, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

This role combines warehouse duties with technical development.

You will be responsible for coordinating the below DC tasks relevant to your dedicated department:

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries, including loading and unloading.
  • Process inventory andmaintainstock accuracy within warehouse systems.
  • Support picking and packing operations within automated fulfilment areas.
  • Coordinateputaway, replenishment, dispatch, sortation, and pallet wrapping activities.
  • Monitor workflow and resolve operational issues tomaintainservice levels.
  • Perform manual handling tasks, includinglifting upto 20kg whenrequired.
  • Support general warehouse operations and process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment.
About you

You willbring:

  • Demonstrated experience training, onboarding and coaching team members on operational processes and safe work practices
  • Ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing guidance and support across theDCoperationsdepartments
  • Previousexperience in a warehouse, distribution centre, orlogisticsenvironment
  • Intermediate computer skills across Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills
  • Forklift licence (desirable)
