Job summary

Lawrence & Hanson is an Australian electrical wholesaler with a strong heritage dating back to 1886 and a nationwide branch network. This role is part of the Supply team, focusing on stock receiving, inventory control, picking and packing, and dispatching stock to customers and branches.

A typical day involves adhering to safety practices, accurate order fulfillment, stock checks, inventory counting, and maintaining housekeeping whilst ensuring efficiency in a busy fulfilment environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse environment.
• Able to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
• Organised, with a can-do attitude and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Adhering to Health & Safety practices and operating a safe working environment.
• Accurately picking, packing and dispatching customer and branch orders.
• Receiving stock and checking against delivery advice, receipted and stored correctly.
• Accurately moving inventory using available technology.
• Completing inventory, cyclic counts and participating in stocktakes.
• Releasing and invoicing orders.
• Maintaining warehouse housekeeping to high standards.
• Cable cutting responsibilities with training, minimizing wastage.

• Accurately picking, packing and dispatching of all customer & branch orders

• Releasing and invoicing orders

• A strong eye for detail
• Experience in a warehouse
• You will be organised, with a can-do attitude
• Forklift Licence - LF and/or LO
• You have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Product knowledge and experience in the electrical, industrial or safety markets is desirable, but not essential
