Responsibilities

• Coordinate local and interstate freight, transport bookings, deliveries and collections.
• Manage container arrivals, delivery appointments and unloading schedules.
• Track shipments, follow up on delays and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Coordinate incoming goods and ensure documentation and inspections are complete.
• Maintain freight records, delivery dockets, manifests and inventory movements.
• Assist with stocktakes, picking, dispatch and general warehouse duties.
• Review freight invoices for discrepancies and escalate issues.
• Collaborate with suppliers, drivers and internal teams to keep operations flowing.

The Job

You'll play an important role in ensuring freight, containers, deliveries and warehouse operations run smoothly. From coordinating transport bookings to helping the warehouse team when things get hectic, no two days will be exactly the same.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate local and interstate freight, transport bookings, deliveries and collections.
• Manage container arrivals, delivery appointments and unloading schedules.
• Track shipments, follow up on delays and resolve delivery or stock discrepancies.
• Coordinate incoming goods, ensuring deliveries are documented, checked and directed appropriately.
• Maintain accurate freight records, delivery dockets, manifests and inventory movements.
• Assist with stocktakes, stock movements, picking, dispatch and general warehouse duties when required.
• Review freight and transport invoices, identifying discrepancies and escalating issues.
• Work closely with suppliers, transport providers, drivers and internal teams to keep operations running efficiently.
• Maintain a safe, organised warehouse and uphold workplace health and safety standards.

About You

We're looking for someone with the right attitude, a practical mindset and the confidence to get things done.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Previous experience in logistics, freight coordination, transport, warehousing or a similar operational role.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A proactive, problem-solving approach. When something goes wrong, you look for solutions rather than excuses.
• Confidence communicating with drivers, suppliers, transport companies and internal stakeholders.
• A hands‑on attitude and willingness to jump in and help the warehouse team when needed.
• Good attention to detail when handling documentation, stock records and freight information.
• A team‑first mentality, a sense of humour and a genuine willingness to contribute.

A forklift licence and a Certificate in Supply Chain, Warehousing or Logistics would be highly regarded, but we’re equally interested in practical experience, initiative and the right attitude.
