Job summary

Excel Recruitment has partnered with a manufacturer in Sydney to appoint an experienced Warehouse Coordinator on a permanent full-time basis at Smeaton Grange. The role centers on ownership of daily warehouse and despatch operations within a manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will coordinate receiving, picking, packing and despatch, maintain accurate stock records, manage deliveries and inter-branch transfers, and uphold WHS and forklift safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or similar environments.
• Experience with inventory and warehouse management systems.
• ERP/MRP experience highly regarded.
• Experience with container unloading and despatch operations.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Hands-on approach and commitment to workplace safety.

• Ensuring WHS procedures and safe manual handling and forklift practices are followed
• Identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and warehouse processes

Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to join their Smeaton Grange team on a permanent full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and hands-on warehouse professional to take ownership of daily warehouse and despatch operations within a manufacturing environment.

The Role

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous warehouse experience, preferably within manufacturing, fabrication or a similar environment

Experience with inventory and warehouse management systems

Previous ERP/MRP experience highly regarded

Experience with container unloading and despatch operations

Strong organisational and time-management skills

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team

A hands-on approach and strong commitment to workplace safety
