Job summary

Excel Recruitment is seeking an experienced Warehouse, Despatch & Scheduling Supervisor for a permanent full-time role in Blacktown. You will lead day-to-day warehouse operations, coordinate despatch and production scheduling to meet customer deadlines, and drive improvements in inventory accuracy.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will manage a team, use ERP/MRP systems, and uphold safety and quality standards across the site, including forklift and manual handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervising daily warehouse, picking, packing and despatch operations.
• Managing inventory accuracy, stock movements and cycle counts.
• Developing and coordinating production schedules to meet customer deadlines.
• Tracking production orders and ensuring schedule adherence.
• Coordinating supplier deliveries and container unloading.
• Overseeing local, interstate and inter-branch dispatches.
• Using ERP/MRP systems to manage inventory and production transactions.
• Maintaining warehouse systems and visual management processes.
• Supporting, training and onboarding warehouse and dispatch staff.
• Working closely with production, sales, dispatch and management teams.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised warehouse environment.
• Ensuring WHS procedures and safe forklift and manual handling practices are followed.
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and operational processes.

Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse, Despatch & Scheduling Supervisor to join their Blacktown team on a permanent full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional with strong leadership, scheduling and organisational skills to take ownership of day-to-day warehouse and despatch operations.

The Role

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous warehouse supervision or management experience, ideally within manufacturing or fabrication
• Demonstrated experience leading and supporting a team
• Experience with production scheduling and inventory management
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise
• A hands-on approach with a strong commitment to safety and quality
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with other teams
