Wallaby Storage is seeking a mature, experienced Customer Service and Sales person for two modern self-storage facilities in Moorabbin and Abbotsford. This permanent part-time role (~30 hours) covers Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and 5 hours on Sunday, with potential move to full-time in 2027.

Ideal candidates have customer-facing experience across real estate/property management or hospitality, with strong admin and computer skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is essential.
• Prior roles in real estate, property management, hotel reception or similar customer-facing environments preferred.

Wallaby Storage - Perm P/T Customer Service and Sales

We are seeking a mature, experienced, admin-orientated Customer Service and Sales person to assist in the running of our two modern self-storage facilities in Moorabbin and Abbotsford. This is a permanent part-time role approx 30 hours per week (all day Thurs-Fri-Sat plus 5 hours on Sunday) with the possibility of transitioning to full time in 2027.

We are particularly interested in hearing from mature, down to earth individuals with prior roles in real estate, property management, hotel reception or any other position that prioritises face to face customer exposure.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

This is an interesting and varied role which will draw on your excellent customer service skills as you:-

• respond to the needs of existing customers
• handle all telephone, email and walk-in enquiries
• liaise with customers and help them satisfy their self-storage needs
• sign up customers, take payments and update customer records
• ensure customer loyalty by offering exceptional follow-up service and support
• be proactive and diligent in the maintenance and presentation of both facilities
• be the face of the business by delivering friendly, flawless, customer care

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:-

• is happy to "float" as needed between Moorabbin and Abbotsford
• is happy to work on weekends
• has proven experience delivering confident and diplomatic customer service
• is a fast accurate typist
• has strong admin and computer skills
• has a current driver's licence and their own reliable vehicle
