Job summary

Exenet is seeking a mature, admin‑oriented Customer Service and Sales person to run two modern self‑storage facilities in Moorabbin and Abbotsford. The role is permanent part‑time (~30 hours per week: Thurs‑Fri‑Sat all day and 5 hours on Sunday) with a potential move to full time in 2027.

Ideal candidates are experienced in real estate, property management or hotel reception, with strong face‑to‑face customer exposure, a fast typing speed and reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Mature, down‑to‑earth individual with prior roles in real estate, property management, or hotel reception.
• Excellent customer service and proactive, detail‑oriented approach.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Respond to the needs of existing customers.
• Handle all telephone, email and walk‑in enquiries.
• Sign up customers, take payments and update customer records.
• Ensure customer loyalty by offering exceptional follow‑up service and support.
• Be proactive and diligent in the maintenance and presentation of both facilities.
• Be the face of the business by delivering friendly, flawless customer care.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a mature, experienced, admin-orientated Customer Service and Sales person to assist in the running of our two modern self-storage facilities in Moorabbin and Abbotsford. This is a permanent part-time role approx 30 hours per week (all day Thurs-Fri-Sat plus 5 hours on Sunday) with the possibility of transitioning to full time in 2027.

We are particularly interested in hearing from mature, down to earth individuals with prior roles in real estate, property management, hotel reception or any other position that prioritises face to face customer exposure.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:-

• is happy to "float" as needed between Moorabbin and Abbotsford
• is happy to work on weekends
• has proven experience delivering confident and diplomatic customer service
• is a fast accurate typist
• has strong admin and computer skills
• has a current driver's licence and their own reliable vehicle
