Job summary

The Country Fire Authority is seeking a fixed-term, full-time Coordinator in the West and South West Regions to streamline recruitment for CFA‑accredited volunteer instructors. You will lead onboarding, capacity planning, and professional development, while supporting events and maintaining LMS records.

Travel across listed districts is required, with occasional evenings and weekends. Applicants should demonstrate relationship-building skills, strong organisational abilities, and experience

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating volunteer recruitment processes and onboarding.
• Ability to manage multiple workflows and produce high‑quality correspondence and reports.
• Experience using Learning Management Systems to maintain accurate records.
• Strong organisational and customer service skills with stakeholder focus.
• Understanding of compliance and regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end coordination of recruitment activities and onboarding for volunteer instructors.
• Assess volunteer instructor capacity and report to the Manager of Learning & Development.
• Upskill volunteer instructors and monitor their ongoing professional development.
• Coordinate and support delivery of volunteer instructor events.
• Maintain accurate records in the CFA LMS and build stakeholder relationships.
