Job summary

Country Fire Authority (CFA) in Geelong, VIC, is seeking a fixed-term, full-time coordinator to support West and South West Regions. You will coordinate volunteer instructors, streamline recruitment and onboarding, and promote ongoing professional development.

Travel within regions and occasional evenings/weekends are required. Responsibilities include managing instructor capacity, partnering with Learning & Development, delivering instructor events, and maintaining accurate LMS records.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating volunteer recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Ability to manage multiple workflows and prepare quality reports.
• Proven ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with LMS to maintain records.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end coordination of recruitment activities and onboarding for volunteer instructors.
• Assess volunteer instructor capacity and report to Learning & Development Manager.
• Upskill instructors and monitor ongoing professional development.
• Coordinate and support delivery of volunteer instructor events.
• Record activities in the CFA LMS and provide support and training.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
