Job summary

Lowes Menswear is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead our VIC Western region stores, driving sales, profitability and exceptional customer experiences while developing Store Managers and their teams.

This role requires strong leadership, a solid track record across multiple locations, and a willingness to travel. The successful candidate will partner with Head Office to deliver key initiatives and uphold high operational standards in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail management.
• Proven experience managing multiple retail locations.
• Strong leadership, coaching and people development skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales and operational performance.
• Strong commercial and financial understanding.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel regularly.
• Experience in apparel, fashion or specialty retail will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales, profitability and overall store performance across the region
• Lead, coach and develop Store Managers and their teams
• Monitor sales, wages, profitability and key performance indicators
• Conduct regular store visits and support performance improvement
• Maintain high standards across customer service, merchandising, stock management and store presentation
• Support recruitment, succession planning and talent development
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and WHS requirements
• Partner with Head Office teams to deliver business initiatives and priorities
