Job summary

Lowe's Australia is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead and support our stores across Victoria’s Western region. You will drive sales, profitability and customer experience while developing Store Managers and their teams.

This key leadership role requires strong financial acumen, multi-site management experience and a hands-on approach to coaching, merchandising, stock management and WHS compliance. Regular travel across the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail management.
• Proven experience managing multiple retail locations.
• Strong leadership, coaching and people development skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales and operational performance.
• Strong commercial and financial understanding.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel regularly.
• Experience in apparel, fashion or specialty retail will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales, profitability and overall store performance across the region
• Lead, coach and develop Store Managers and their teams
• Monitor sales, wages, profitability and key performance indicators
• Conduct regular store visits and support performance improvement
• Maintain high standards across customer service, merchandising, stock management and store presentation
• Support recruitment, succession planning and talent development
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and WHS requirements
• Partner with Head Office teams to deliver business initiatives and priorities
