All Natural Vet Care in Sydney’s Russell Lea is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist for a permanent part-time role (2–3 days per week). You’ll be the friendly first contact for clients and their pets, coordinating appointments and payments while supporting the clinic team with day-to-day operations.

All Natural Vet Care | Russell Lea, Sydney
At All Natural Vet Care, we believe good veterinary care is about more than treating an illness. It’s about looking at the whole pet, understanding their individual needs and helping them live healthier, happier lives.
As an integrative veterinary practice, we take a holistic approach to patient care, combining conventional veterinary medicine with natural medicine and therapies, including chinese and western herbal medicine, acupuncture, laser therapy and rehabilitation. Our dedicated team is committed to providing exceptional care and supporting our clients through every stage of their pet’s health journey.
We’re looking for a people person first and foremost, someone warm, organised and genuinely interested in animals and their welfare. You’ll be the first person our clients speak to and the friendly face that welcomes them and their pets into the clinic. You’ll play an important role in creating the experience our clients remember, while helping the team keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Reception at ANVC is about much more than answering phones. You’ll be an important part of the team, helping clients feel comfortable and informed while keeping the day-to-day running of the clinic on track.
Your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming clients and their pets and providing a friendly, professional first point of contact.
Managing phone calls, emails, enquiries and appointment bookings.
Handling client accounts and payments
Supporting our vets and nursing team with the day-to-day coordination of the clinic.
Keeping reception and the front-of-house area organised, welcoming and running smoothly.
Assisting with general administration and occasional social media tasks.
Willingness to handle patients on occassion
No two days are quite the same, so being able to juggle competing priorities, staying when things get busy and using your initiative will be important.
You don’t need to be a veterinary expert, but you do need to enjoy working with people and have a genuine interest in animal care.
You’ll suit this role if you are someone who:
Is naturally friendly, approachable and comfortable communicating with a wide range of people.
Has excellent customer service skills and understands the importance of making clients feel heard and supported.
Is organised, reliable and able to manage several things at once without losing sight of the details.
Takes initiative, thinks ahead and enjoys being part of a team.
Is confident with computers and comfortable learning new systems.
Has a genuine interest in animal health and welfare and appreciates that pets are family.
Previous reception or customer service experience would be highly regarded. Veterinary or medical reception experience would be an advantage, and familiarity with EzyVet would be a bonus, but we’re equally interested in finding the right person with the right attitude.
A permanent part-time position, working 2–3 days per week.
A welcoming team environment where everyone plays a part and helping each other out comes naturally.
A varied role where you can make a real contribution to the client and patient experience.
The opportunity to learn more about integrative veterinary medicine.
A competitive, above-award salary, commensurate with experience.
No after-hours work or weekend shifts.
Four weeks of annual leave, pro-rata, plus applicable employment entitlements.
Discounted veterinary care for your own pets.
A workplace that values initiative, teamwork and a genuine commitment to animal wellbeing.
You don’t have to know everything about veterinary medicine. What matters is your attitude, your approach to people and your desire to be part of a team that genuinely cares.
