Macquarie Vetz Animal Centre is seeking a friendly, experienced Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist to join our caring team. You will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, delivering professional and compassionate customer service while supporting clinic operations.

The role involves handling phone enquiries, appointments, emails, and payments, maintaining accurate patient records, and assisting veterinarians and nurses.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in veterinary reception or client-focused role.
• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you will play an important role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring every visit is a positive experience.

About the role:

• Welcoming clients and providing professional, compassionate customer service

About you:

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience working in the veterinary industry in a reception, nursing, or client-focused role
• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or related qualification preferred, but not essential
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment
• A warm, friendly, and professional approach with clients and team members
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care

Position details:

• Monday to Thursday availability
• No weekend work required
