Job summary

Foxwell Vet Coomera is seeking a friendly veterinary receptionist to welcome clients and their pets, manage bookings, and provide admin support in a busy clinic on the Gold Coast. You will maintain accurate records, handle payments and insurance claims, and share information about services and preventive care.

We value empathy, reliability, and a positive attitude, with experience at a busy front desk preferred (EzyVet experience advantageous).

Job description

This role offers 3-4 shifts per week, with Saturday availability essential.

We are a 3.5 vet, 10 team member clinic that pride ourselves on our positive team culture and strive to have clear and positive communication between our team and clients. The clinic is owned and operated by a local vet with over 15 years of experience. Our team is customer centric, with customer satisfaction, quality patient care and a positive work culture being our priorities. We pride ourselves on being local and independent. About the role:

• Greet clients and their pets and creating a welcoming clinic environment
• Answer phone calls, manage appointment bookings, coordinate daily schedules, and provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic
• Maintain accurate client and patient records
• Processing payments, pet insurance claims, invoices, and EFTPOS transactions
• Provide information about veterinary services, preventative care, and over the counter products
• Handling sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism

• Reliability, flexibility, and willing to assist with varied shift requirements
• Previous Receptionist or Customer Service experience, Ezyvet experience preferred but not essential
