Job summary

Small Animal Specialist Hospital in Ryde, NSW, is seeking casual and part-time Client Services team members for a 24-hour facility. You’ll work a mix of shifts from 6am to 10pm, with nights and weekends as required, providing essential front-of-house support in a busy veterinary environment.

You’ll handle front desk tasks, manage high volumes of calls and emails across multiple systems, coordinate appointments, liaise with clinicians, process payments, and obtain results/documents from third

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a high-volume reception or administration-based position.
• Proven ability to take initiative and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Professional and empathetic demeanour with strong customer service focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable, committed work ethic with a resilient attitude.
• Passionate about animals and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Front of house duties (e.g. greeting clients and managing waiting rooms).
• Managing a high-volume of calls and emails across multiple systems.
• Coordination and booking of appointments.
• Liaison between clients and the clinical team.
• Handling cash, EFTPOS and other payments, including processing insurance claims.
• Requesting results, samples and other documents from third parties.
