Job summary

The Garage at RAA in Adelaide is building a new growth and incubation centre. As the Venture & Proposition Lead, you will turn bold ideas into validated opportunities and test new propositions across domains.

This hands-on role blends customer insight, product development, experimentation and commercial strategy to rapidly test, learn and scale ventures. You'll collaborate with domain leaders, partners and cross-functional teams to shape future products and services that matter for South

Designed as a standalone growth engine, it brings together expertise in product, design, technology, data and commercial strategy to rapidly test, learn and scale new opportunities.

As the Venture & Proposition Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in turning possibilities into reality. Working across multiple growth domains, you'll uncover customer needs, identify opportunities worth pursuing, design compelling propositions, and test new ideas before they become products, services or standalone ventures.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who loves building. You'll work at the intersection of customer insight, product development, experimentation and commercial strategy, rapidly testing assumptions and transforming concepts into evidence-backed opportunities ready for investment and scale.

You'll collaborate with domain leaders, partners and multidisciplinary teams to create innovative solutions that solve real customer problems and help shape RAA's future growth agenda

About You

You're naturally curious, highly customer-focused and energised by building new things. You enjoy moving from ambiguity to clarity, combining creativity with commercial thinking to develop products and propositions that create genuine value.

You know how to identify opportunities, challenge assumptions and use evidence to determine what will succeed in the market. You're comfortable experimenting, learning quickly and adapting as new insights emerge.

We're looking for someone with:

A track record of taking ideas from concept through to validation, pilot or launch readiness

Experience designing and running experiments to test customer demand, desirability, feasibility and commercial viability

Strong product thinking and customer discovery skills, with the ability to translate insights into compelling propositions

Commercial acumen and the ability to assess business models, revenue opportunities and pathways to market

Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative approach to working across diverse disciplines and teams
