Job summary

RAA is building an AI-first transformation and establishing a dedicated AI Hub in Adelaide. As Solutions Architect, AI, you’ll design architectures that make AI scalable, secure and reusable across data, technology, cyber security, governance and business teams, enabling immediate value and long-term adoption.

You’ll balance innovation with governance, shaping AI-enabled workflows, decision intelligence and member experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience designing AI, data, digital or enterprise technology solutions within complex organisational environments.
• Strong knowledge of modern cloud architecture, integration patterns and AI platforms.
• Experience developing architecture standards, patterns and reference designs that support scalable delivery.
• Experience partnering with enterprise architecture, cyber security, data and governance teams to align solutions with organisational standards.
• An understanding of security, privacy and responsible AI principles and how they are embedded into solution design.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

• Full-time permanent position based in Adelaide CBD reporting to the Senior Manager AI Hub

The Role

We're building something new.

RAA is embarking on an ambitious AI-first transformation, embedding artificial intelligence across the organisation to improve insights, reporting, workflows, member journeys and service delivery. Building on trusted data and strong governance foundations, we're establishing a dedicated AI Hub to help teams work smarter, make better decisions and create more value for members.

As the Solutions Architect, AI, you'll help translate this ambition into reality.

You'll design the architecture that underpins RAA's AI-enabled future, creating scalable, secure and reusable solutions that move AI from experimentation into enterprise-wide adoption. Working across data, technology, cyber security, governance and business teams, you'll ensure AI solutions deliver immediate value while supporting RAA's long-term technology strategy.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape a capability from the ground up. From AI-powered workflows and decision intelligence solutions through to member-facing experiences and automation opportunities, you'll define how AI integrates into the fabric of the organisation. You'll balance innovation with governance, ensuring every solution is secure, responsible, scalable and designed for real-world impact.

You understand how to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery, and can confidently navigate conversations across technical teams, executives and business stakeholders. You're passionate about ensuring architecture creates long-term value, not just short-term solutions.

We're looking for someone with:
