Job summary

Westgold Resources Limited seeks a Technical Services Manager for Beta Hunt, its flagship underground operation in Western Australia. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, practical and economically robust mine plans and schedules.

You will oversee Mine Planning, Production Engineering, Geotechnical, Survey and Ventilation across short, medium and long-term horizons, ensuring plans translate into safe execution and strong performance.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified Mining Engineer or related technical discipline.
• First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency is desirable.
• AusIMM membership or equivalent accreditation is desirable.
• Extensive underground hard rock mining experience.
• Strong capability in mine design, scheduling and Life of Mine planning.
• Good understanding of geotechnical, ventilation, survey and mine infrastructure functions.
• Experience managing technical risk, reconciliation and planning governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe technical outcomes in line with site safety systems and obligations.
• Oversee Mine Planning, Production Engineering, Geotechnical, Survey and Ventilation across short to long-term horizons.
• Deliver safe, practical and economically robust mine designs and schedules.
• Partner with Operations to translate mine plans into safe execution.
• Ensure geotechnical, ventilation, survey and infrastructure are integrated into plans.
• Drive technical governance through risk management, design reviews and change control.
• Oversee mine reconciliation, production tracking, forecasting and performance reporting.
• Manage Technical Services budgets, workforce planning and contractor performance.
