Job summary

Westgold Resources is seeking a Senior Production Engineer to lead the safe and efficient extraction of gold at our Southern Operations in Western Australia. You will head a team of mining engineers to deliver production targets through sound engineering practices and robust leadership.

The role offers responsibility for underground operations, collaboration with the Mining Manager, and the opportunity to shape production strategies in a Top 5 Australian gold producer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Mining Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven proficiency with Deswik CAD/UGDB, Ventsim and MS Office.
• Experience in drill & blast design and stope sequencing for high recovery.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and drive weekly drill and blast activities with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to drill and blast standards and drive continuous improvement to maximise recovery and minimise dilution.
• Coach and mentor Production and Graduate Engineers to develop high-performance teams.
