Job summary

Westgold Resources is seeking a Senior Geological Technician to lead underground geology activities and core yard duties, driving safe, efficient extraction and growth of our mineral resource. You will mentor the Geology Technician team, manage daily core yard operations, and ensure accurate data collection and QAQC.

Qualifications

• Underground mining experience required.
• C Class drivers license (manual).
• Previous supervisory experience would be highly regarded.
• INX and LMS experience.
• Knowledge of Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Geology Technician team.
• Manage daily core yard operations and processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely geological data collection and entry.
• Conduct QAQC on sample collection, documentation, and dispatch.
• Support surface and underground sampling and mapping activities.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site procedures.
