Job summary

Westgold Resources invites applications for a Senior Production Engineer to lead safe, efficient underground gold production at Southern Operations in Western Australia. You will head a team of junior engineers, shaping weekly drill and blast plans and 3MS scheduling with Deswik IS.

The role focuses on operational excellence, staff development, and delivering production targets while adhering to safety and statutory standards. WA site drivers licence and engineering degree are essential.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering.
• Current Western Australian Class C Driver's Licence.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and implement weekly drill and blast activities, with a focus on operational excellence.
• Schedule and manage the 3MS process using Deswik IS.
• Ensure adherence to drill and blast standards and drive improvements to optimise recovery and minimise dilution.
• Coach and mentor Production Engineers and Graduate Engineers.
• Fulfil statutory responsibilities when required.
• Support daily underground operations and help achieve production targets.
