Job summary

Westgold Resources is seeking a maintenance planner for our Beta Hunt operation in Western Australia. The role focuses on planning and coordinating maintenance for mining equipment and infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on safe, efficient and cost-effective operations.

The successful candidate will bring 5+ years of mechanical maintenance in underground mining, 2+ years in a planning role, and strong CMMS/MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in underground mining.
• Minimum 2 years of Maintenance Planner experience or similar role.
• Experience with a CMMS such as Pronto is preferred.
• Proficient MS Office skills required.
• Valid and relevant trade qualifications, certificates and licences.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate maintenance of all Beta Hunt’s mining equipment and infrastructure.
• Develop maintenance strategies and schedule, coordinate, and monitor maintenance of mobile and fixed plant equipment.
• Work with Senior Maintenance Planners to safely and cost-effectively maintain assets.
• Organise schedules/work orders for the maintenance team including mobile, fixed plant and electrical assets.
• Arrange parts and labour for future works, contractor labour and offsite repairs to minimise disruption.
• Analyse risk of equipment failure and monitor performance to keep costs down.
