Job summary

Woden Community Service Inc is seeking a Housing and Community Connections Case Worker to provide trauma-informed, person-centred case management and tenancy support. You will assess needs, develop tailored plans, and help participants access housing, health and community services in the ACT.

You will advocate for individuals, coordinate services to achieve positive outcomes, and support tenancy stability while building partnerships with housing providers and government agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience in case management, housing support, homelessness, or community services.
• Strong communication, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to build rapport with people experiencing complex challenges.
• Experience facilitating groups, workshops, or community activities.
• Knowledge of tenancy support, housing pathways, and trauma-informed practice.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Relevant qualification in Social Work, Community Services, Human Services, or a related field.
• Active WWVP card and working rights in Australia; willingness to undertake background checks.

Responsibilities
