Job summary

Plus Community, part of Housing Plus, is seeking a full-time Case Worker, Operation Courage in Orange, NSW. This maternity relief contract runs five days per week until 31 December 2027 and focuses on case management for women and children affected by domestic and family violence to sustain or establish safe tenancies.

You will develop support plans, coordinate services and maintain confidential records while building strong partnerships with key providers.

Qualifications

• Experience in case management or community services, preferably in the domestic and family violence sector.
• Trauma-informed, client-centred support for individuals in crisis or distress.
• Experience assessing client needs, developing support plans and coordinating services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships.
• Strong organisational, time management and record-keeping skills.
• Commitment to professional boundaries, confidentiality and ethical practice.
• Current NSW Driver Licence.
• Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).
• National Criminal History Check (or ability to obtain).
• Legal right to live and work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality case management activities to enable women and children at risk of homelessness due to domestic and family violence.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure effective service referrals.
• Assist in sustaining tenancies or establishing new safe and affordable housing through wraparound supports.
