Job summary

Programmed Maintenance Services – Greenacre NSW is seeking a proactive Transport Operations & Customer Service Coordinator to join the team. The role focuses on coordinating customer service delivery and daily transport operations, working with customers, drivers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient service and strong customer relationships.

The position requires previous transport/logistics experience, strong communication, and excellent organisational skills.

Qualifications

Experience in transport and logistics, with knowledge of operations coordination.
Sound understanding of transport terminology and processes.
Strong customer service and written/verbal communication.
Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
Proficient using TMS, WMS, MS Office and transport software.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer enquiries regarding freight tracking and ETAs.
Manage customer bookings and service-related inquiries.
Coordinate communication between customers, drivers, sub-contractors and depot personnel.
Monitor freight movements and coordinate resolutions for delays.
Provide data entry and maintain customer records.
Investigate discrepancies in pallet transfers (CHEP and LOSCAM).
Escalate operational issues and support continuous improvements.
