Qualifications

• Experience in administrative, project support or customer service role, preferably within local government or a similar environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, databases and corporate systems.
• The ability to work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• A commitment to providing professional and responsive service to the community.
• An understanding of, or willingness to learn about, local government processes and transport infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality administrative and operational support to the Transport Infrastructure team.
• Assist with the coordination and monitoring of transport infrastructure projects, programs and works.
• Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, records and other documentation.
• Maintain accurate records, databases, registers and project information.
• Assist with purchase orders, invoices, contractor documentation and financial administration.
• Coordinate meetings, site activities, appointments and other team requirements.
• Respond to customer enquiries and assist with timely resolution of requests relating to transport infrastructure.
• Liaise with internal teams, contractors, consultants, government agencies and members of the community.
• Support procurement, contract administration and other business processes as required.
• Provide general assistance to ensure projects and operational activities are delivered efficiently and effectively.
