Job summary

Access Hire, part of Access Group Australia, is seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator for our Laverton North branch to manage daily transport activity and keep operations running smoothly.

You will coordinate transport runs, plan routes, and communicate with drivers and customers in a fast-paced environment, Monday to Friday 7am–5pm. VIC familiarity and CRM/database skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Transport/Logistics Coordination role.
• Strong knowledge of the VIC landscape.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid computer skills (Outlook, Word, and database systems - Insphire/CRM is a bonus).

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate transport runs across our fleet of Tilt Trays and Low Loaders.
• Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
• Support the Hire Office with general administrative tasks.
• Monitor and manage transport costs and resource allocation.

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Logistics Coordinator to join our team as a Transport Coordinatorat our Laverton North branch. As a key part of our operations team, you'll be at the centre of our daily transport activity,coordinating, communicating, and ensuring everything runs like clockwork.

Daily duties will include

• Schedule and coordinate transport runs across our fleet of Tilt Trays and Low Loaders
• Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams r espond to changing priorities and provide real-time solutions
• Support the Hire Office with general administrative tasks
• Monitor and manage transport costs and resource allocation

This office-based role works Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm from our Laverton North Branch You are organised, proactive, and thrive under pressure. You know VIC like the back of your hand and enjoy being the go-to person when things need to get done.
