Job summary

All Lift Forklifts & Access Equipment in Hallam, VIC is seeking a Transport Controller to join our team. You will coordinate transport, manage bookings, and liaise with customers to arrange delivery and pickup times.

The role requires strong organization, excellent English, and the ability to multitask in a high-volume environment. Prior experience in the access hire industry is preferred and you will work with our family-owned team.

Responsibilities

• Allocate transport and logistics for machines within own tilt trays and contractor transport.
• Assist with allocating transport for Operator/Transport jobs.
• Coordinate with internal departments for booking transport.
• Create and approve Purchase orders for transport.
• Handle general office administration tasks.
• Source best transport rates and ensure availability.
• Ensure trucks are maintained, safe, and compliant.
• Liaise with customers for delivery, collection times and site access.
• Follow up on duties, tasks, and enquiries.

All Lift Forklifts & Access Equipment is a family owned hire-sales-services company that specialises in the hire of forklifts, telehandlers, elevated work platform and some general hire; servicing a wide variety of industries ranging from warehouses, fruit markets, construction, film, events, maintenance, infrastructure, telecommunications and many more. We are currently looking for a Transport Controller to join our dynamic team in our Hallam, VIC branch.

Key responsibilities

• Allocating transport & logistics for machines within own tilt trays and contractor transport
• Assisting with allocating for Operator/Transport jobs
• Dealing with internal departments for booking transport
• Creating and approving Purchase orders for transport
• General Office administration
• Sourcing the best possible transport rates and availability
• Assist in ensuring maintenance, safety and compliance of all trucks is maintained
• Liaising with customers for delivery, collection times and access to sites
• Ability to follow up and respond to all duties/tasks/enquiries
