• Plan and allocate daily transport runs across metropolitan and regional deliveries.
• Coordinate drivers, vehicles, and routes to maximise efficiency and utilisation.
• Monitor delivery schedules and proactively manage delays or operational issues.
• Maintain regular communication with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), NHVR regulations, and company policies.
• Manage and update transport management systems and delivery documentation.
• Investigate and resolve customer service issues relating to deliveries and collections.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within transport operations.
• Assist with driver scheduling, fleet utilisation, and operational reporting.

About You

• Previous experience as a Transport Allocator, Transport Coordinator, Fleet Coordinator, or similar logistics role.
• Strong knowledge of transport operations, route planning, and scheduling.
• Understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements and transport legislation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Experience using Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing competing priorities.
