Job summary

Randstad in Blayney, NSW is seeking a Transport Coordinator to drive operational efficiency, manage load planning and ensure CoR compliance across the network. You will report to the Transport Manager and coordinate with warehouses to meet tight delivery deadlines.

The role requires a strong transport operations background, SAP proficiency, and the ability to meet Safety and KPI targets while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong transport operations background with hands-on transport planning and load allocation.
• Experience using SAP for logistics tasks is preferred.
• Ability to meet daily KPIs for safety, service, and cost while providing strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute load requirements within SAP, assembling orders into optimal delivery loads.
• Coordinate delivery timeslots and secure bookings with wholesale delivery warehouses to ensure EOT delivery deadlines are met.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) guidelines, meeting weekly Safety and Compliance KPI targets.
• Manage end-to-end paperwork flow using internal systems in a timely and efficient manner.
• Coordinate load creation and time windows through clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Transport Manager, you will play a central role in driving operational efficiency, load planning, and safety compliance across the network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute load requirements within SAP, assembling orders into optimal delivery loads.
• Coordinate delivery timeslots and secure bookings with wholesale delivery warehouses to ensure EOT delivery deadlines are strictly met.
• Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) guidelines, consistently meeting weekly Safety and Compliance KPI targets.
• Manage end-to-end paperwork flow procedures in an effective and timely manner using simplified internal systems.
• Coordinate load creation and time windows through clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Strong transport operational background with direct experience in transport planning and load allocation (FMCG or Healthcare experience highly regarded).
• Proficiency in SAP, along with intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook) would be beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve daily key metrics across Safety, Service, and Cost while delivering exceptional customer service.
• A highly motivated team player capable of engaging effectively with all facets of the warehouse.
• Australian residency with full working rights is required.
