Job summary

Linfox in North Maclean, QLD, seeks a motivated Transport Allocator to coordinate metropolitan deliveries and plan routes, ensuring on-time performance in a busy Retail Transport operation.

You will communicate with drivers and customers, maintain run sheets and schedules, and work within safety standards to support efficient, compliant logistics across Queensland. Training and real-world growth opportunities are provided.

What does the job look like?

We’re looking for a motivated Transport Allocator to join our Retail Transport operation based in North Maclean, QLD. In this hands-on role, you'll play a key part in keeping our transport network moving by managing allocations, planning routes and coordinating daily metropolitan deliveries. This position operates Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm.

• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions while fostering positive relationships
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to run sheets, delivery schedules, and compliance requirements
• Ensure regular communication with customers, keeping them well-informed about their scheduled deliveries or any changes that may impact them
• Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times

• Experience in transport load planning, driver or fleet allocation is highly regarded
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills – experience with TMS is highly regarded
• Strong geographical knowledge of QLD metro and surrounding areas
• Demonstrated capability to perform effectively under pressure, remaining organised and highly efficient
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
