Yass Valley Council in NSW is seeking a motivated Trainee ICT Support Assistant to provide frontline Level 1 ICT support for staff, assisting with password resets, software installation issues and connectivity problems, and helping maintain ICT assets.
You will work under supervision with ICT staff, assist with device deployment, asset management and basic hardware/software upgrades, and participate in training to gain a nationally recognised qualification while earning a wage.
As a Trainee ICT Support Assistant, you will provide frontline technical support to Council staff, helping ensure the smooth operation of computer systems, software applications, mobile devices, and network services. You will assist with troubleshooting, device deployment, user support, and maintaining ICT assets.

We are searching for a motivated and reliable Trainee ICT Support Assistant who is passionate about technology and driven to provide excellent customer service. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting and maintaining the Council's communication and technology systems.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Full time employment, working 70 hours across a 9-day fortnight. Salary from $44,746 per year (from 18 years of age) + 12 % super in accordance with Council's Salary System and the Local Government State Award.
