Job summary

Central Coast Council NSW is seeking a Place Activation Coordinator to design and deliver activations that boost community vibrancy and local economic value across town centres.

You will manage projects end-to-end, build partnerships with diverse stakeholders, ensure safety and compliance, and pursue grant opportunities to maximise placemaking impact.

The role offers a 9-day fortnight, hybrid work arrangement, and potential career progression within a dynamic community development team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Project Management, Tourism or Event Management, Community Development or a relevant field, and/or extensive contemporary experience in placemaking.
• Demonstrated experience applying placemaking and place activation principles to achieve beneficial community outcomes.
• Experience designing, coordinating and delivering projects end to end with budgets and timelines.
• Proven ability to build partnerships, lead, motivate, influence and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with creative problem-solving.
• Excellent time management and ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Current Class C Driver Licence.
