The role of Team Leader Urban Design will oversee the daily operations of complex urban design and urban revitalisation projects, ensuring alignment with Council objectives. This role involves engaging with various stakeholders, providing expert advice, and leading high-profile projects that impact the community.
Key responsibilities include preparing concept plans for town centre revitalisation projects, public domain plans for key centres, mentoring staff, conducting technical analysis, and collaborating across teams to achieve urban revitalisation outcomes. The Team Leader will also represent the Council in various forums and prepare comprehensive reports for decision-making.

This position has a salary range between $115k to $133k per year plus 12% superannuation. A market loading payment may be applied to this role for the right candidate based on skills and experience.
A leaseback vehicle is provided in this role for official duties and private use and your choice of vehicle will be provided when one becomes available in accordance with Council's Vehicle Policy. In the meantime, either an alternate pre-used vehicle or a vehicle allowance of $207.31 per week is temporarily applied for this position due to ongoing issues with supply for new vehicles.
