Job summary

Central Coast Council NSW seeks a Team Leader Urban Design to oversee complex urban design and revitalisation projects, ensuring alignment with council objectives. You will engage with diverse stakeholders, provide expert advice, and lead high-profile projects shaping the community.

Your role includes preparing concept plans, mentoring staff, and delivering technical analyses while collaborating across teams to achieve urban revitalisation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, Architecture or demonstrated experience in a similar field.
• Extensive experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and urban design projects.
• Experience in town centre revitalisation and public domain projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare concept plans for town centre revitalisation projects.
• Create public domain plans for key centres.
• Mentor staff and supervise teams.
• Conduct technical analysis and coordinate across teams.
• Represent the Council in forums and prepare reports for decision-making.
