Job summary

The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Learning and Capability Consultant (Tobacco) to design and deliver targeted training for Tobacco Licensing Victoria. You will help staff build the skills to license tobacco businesses and enforce regulations within a dynamic government environment.

You will plan and deliver onboarding for new staff, develop courses using online tools, and coordinate with external providers to meet learning needs.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent (highly desired)
• Current Victorian driver’s licence
• Experience creating learning programs and onboarding for a business or initiative
• Experience with online learning tools and learning management systems

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver clear, practical training, including onboarding for new staff
• Design engaging courses using online tools, videos, role-plays and other activities
• Coordinate training with external providers and check that it meets staff needs
• Review course results, test staff learning and improve training materials and delivery
