Job summary

Victorian Government’s Tobacco Licensing Victoria is seeking a learning and capability consultant to design and deliver training for licensing tobacco businesses and enforcing the law.

You will develop practical onboarding for new staff, create engaging courses using online tools, and coordinate with external providers, ensuring materials meet staff needs and learning outcomes. A Cert IV in Training and Assessment is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent is highly desired.
• Current Victorian driver's licence required.
• Qualifications or experience in education, human resources or training and development are desirable.
• Experience creating learning programs and onboarding for a business or initiative.
• Understand how adults learn and how to design, plan and deliver training.
• Able to use online learning tools, course development software and at least one learning management system.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver clear, practical training, including onboarding for new staff.
• Work with the team to identify learning needs and create training materials.
• Design engaging courses using online tools, videos, role-plays and other activities.
• Coordinate training with external providers and ensure it meets staff needs.
• Review course results, test learning and improve training materials and delivery.
